X-Trial Barcelona indoor 6th
It was a pity to have picked up five points in the opening section because things went fairly well in other sections and I felt pretty good with more self-confidence than in other seasons. In spite of not having trained so much for the indoor season this year, I felt very sure of myself on the bike. It was a shame that I didn’t make it into the final, but it is only the first race and there is still a long way to go and I’m very motivated. I wasn’t able to work that hard on fitness in preseason training because of a chest injury, but in spite of that, I felt better than I have done in other years. To participate in Barcelona is always very special because it’s like home soil to me and besides, all my family, friends and sponsors came along tonight.

昨シーズンよりも自信をもって走りましたが、1セクションでの5点からの始まりは残念でした。この5点がなければ全て上手くはずだったんですが...今年はインドア練習をあまりしていませんが、バイクとの感触がとても良かったので、決勝に進めなかったのは残念です。しかし、これが最初のレースなので今後のレースに繋げていきたいです。シーズンオフに胸の怪我などの理由でプレシーズンにハードなトレーニングをすることができませんでしたが、今は順調に回復しています。バルセロナインドアに参加するのは地元という事もあり、とても特別で、今回40周年記念のレースに参加出来た事、そして最多出場の17回目を迎える事を、光栄に思います。
次戦X-TRIAL第2戦は3月11日 オーストラリアで開催されます。
