Video by @pedromcbride // Mount Kenya (5,199 metres (17,057 ft)) is the highest mountain in Kenya and the second highest in Africa after Kilimanjaro. The glaciers on the mountain have historically served as a natural reservoir system for the region supplying up to 70% of the water for Kenya. But today, of the 16 glaciers on the mountain, only a few remain and are quickly shrinking. The results are erratic weather and unpredictable runoff patterns creating more drought or violent floods.
