The midfielderplayed a key role in the @ussoccer_wnt team that finished third at the FIFA Women’s World Cup China 2007 and clinched a gold medal at the 2008 Women’s Olympic Football Tournament in Beijing. Chalupny had previously brandished the FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup in 2002. In 2015 she won the FIFA Women’s World Cup before announcing her retirement from the U.S. women’s national team.
