On 23 January 1956, in its magazine Propos Longines, #Longines published an advertisement presenting some emblematic models of the time. It is signed by René Bleuer, whose name was often associated with the brand’s promotion of its products between 1942 and 1960. This lithographer, illustrator, graphic designer and poster artist, born in La Neuveville near Saint-Imier, worked in Paris before returning to Switzerland. #OnThisDay
