Sumo Deadlifts make me so happy?(contrary to what this video portrays ??) - playing around with sets of 6 @ 215 lbs
Here are my top 3 favourite cues to play around with when executing the movement:

1. Press your heels into the floor - almost like I'm pushing into the bottom floor of the gym! My leg muscles are a driving force in bringing the weight off the floor. While many attribute the DL as a pulling motion, I believe the beginning portion is a push.
2. Breathe against my belt - helps me stay tight to ensure safe lifting (i.e. by avoiding my lower back rounding)

3. Thrust the bar. As soon as I pass my shins, just below my knees, I thrust my hips forward. The thrust is my lock out, my indicator that I've achieved a full ROM. ?? Let me know if any of these cues help you guys out! ? #SrsFaceStrong #? #FightForGrowth
