This day last year I was not the person you see here, I was a version of him but not this guy. Last year on day 1 I had a lot of cool ideas, what-ifs, possibilities & maybes. But that person was lacking a strong foundation of support after a couple of years partnering up with people that were in the business of letting me down. I scrapped the old way and reconstructed my thinking as well as reprogrammed some of my reactions. I needed to take more time to listen and less time bounding into action.
This year cool ideas went into motion, what-ifs became can-bes, possibilities are realities & maybe turned into definitely.
With a new gang of friends, crop of writing partners, producers and film work under my belt this 2016 that was filled with untimely death was a year of birth for the 2nd act of my life and career.
I share these things because I know how simple it is to become hopeless and feel encumbered. I've had it all and I've had it all taken. I've built it and I've destroyed it. I've dreamed huge and I've let go of small hopes. I've loved and I've lost love. There is one thing that isn't in my life - negativity.
I don't subscribe to that. I move and shake, I silently contemplate, I think bigger, I help more, give more, share more & earn more with my corporation and my soul.
I can't wait to show you what this year has planned. I can't wait to see others shine bright and make something from nothing.
