Working with Carrie Fisher on FANBOYS was an absolute dream come true. She was a Princess to me growing up. My first screen crush. And an absolute icon. Then suddenly I was collaborating with her... directing her. That feeling always fades away fast when you roll up your sleeves to work. But Carrie was special. I presented her with three versions of a very key scene late in the film and she of course chose the raciest one--with the @christophermarquette kiss! It turned out just perfectly. It was a pleasure catching up with her over the years. She was always colorful, vibrant, spirited, supportive, clever and most of all, real. So sad she is gone.
