Shimon is one of the many 9 year olds I had the privilege of photographing and interviewing for the National Geographic January 2017 special issue #GenderRevolution. While plenty of the kids made it into the digital and magazine edition, Shimon sadly didn’t - just too many great kids to choose from. There are plenty of other amazing children from around the world speaking their minds in the magazine and online version though.
