This past spring we released one of our favorite capsule collections to date, our Big Sur Collection. ? We were so thrilled to have been able to pledge and donate a percentage of our Big Sur Collection sales to @oceanconservancy this year! One of the ways they fight for our oceans is in their work to protect marine areas and foster vibrant, healthy ocean habitats. In the United States, more than 10 percent of our land has been reserved as protected parks, wildlife refuges and wilderness areas, but the same level of care has yet to be given to our ocean, where less than 1 percent is protected. Underwater parks, called marine protected areas, strongly improve our ocean’s health and for more then 2 decades, Ocean Conservany has been working to create these refugees where the ocean’s most extraordinary creatures can recover and thrive. These are places that could be crucial to the survival of some of it's inhabitants who are especially threatened by trash and environmental pollution. We are grateful for the Ocean Conservancy's fight to educate and push for the protection of our Oceans. And it's thanks to you that we were able to donate $10,000 last month, and that even better, we were able to meet the deadline for matched donation from a benefactor for a total of $20,000.
