Sacred Water ~ Hands reach out to touch water seeping from rocks, considered holy at the sacred grotto of Lourdes in Lourdes, France. Millions of people from all over the world travel to Lourdes seeking miracle cures to their ailments, pray and collect the holy water which pours from the grotto. It is believed that in 1858 the Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette Soubirous while praying in this grotto.
