Not only ecologically through nutrient and energy transfer by salmon, bears, wolfs, seabirds etc.... but also visually. Looking up from just a few feet underwater the kelp forests blend almost seamlessly into the temperate jungles of cedars, hemlock and spruce. Shot in Canada's Great Bear Rainforest with @pacificwild a conservation organization focused on protecting this unique interface between land and sea. @natgeocreative
