We are so excited to honor the oldest and largest grassroots environmental organization in America:  the Sierra Club.  For the last 124 years, this non-profit has fought to protect our planet by pushing to define landmark legislation (the Clean Water Act and the Endangered Species Act), establishing national parks (Yosemite and the Grand Canyon), and promoting a clean energy future.  They've been on the ground in the Dakotas fighting the construction of the DAPL and working hand-in-hand with the people indigenous to the lands. While we do celebrate an early victory with the recent denial of an easement for the pipeline, our fight to protect clean water, air, and natural resources--whether at Standing Rock or elsewhere in this country--is far from over.  Join us this Thursday at Opening Ceremony in supporting @SierraClub." -- Carol and @humbertotoo.
