St. Basil's Cathedral, AKA the Cathedral of Vasily the Blessed, is a church of colourful splendour in Red Square, #Moscow. Legend has it that Tsar Ivan the Terrible ordered the blinding of the architects who built the place to prevent them from designing anything of comparable beauty. This multi-coloured patterned onion-capped cathedral is now a museum which attracts numbers of tourist to indulge in its glory of Russia's past.
