The round figure looks like a swirling spiral. It is actually a figure of concentric circles called “Fractal Spiral Illusion” by Hitoshi Arai (The University of Tokyo) and Shinobu Arai, exhibited at the "Visual Illusion Lab in the Land of Mathematics", Miraikan.
渦巻きのように見えますが、同心円状に丸いフラクタル図形が並んでいる画像です。錯視作品「フラクタル螺旋錯視」（制作：新井仁之氏・東京大学、新井しのぶ氏）は、未来館の「数理の国の錯視研究所」で展示中。
