子どもが赤ん坊のとき、子どものよき守り手となるでしよう。子どもが幼少期のとき、子どものよき遊び相 手となるでしょう。 子どもが少年期のとき、子どものよき理解者となるでしょう。そして子どもが青年になったとき、 自らの死をもって子供に命の尊さを教えるでしょう

僕は大人になってから犬との生活をはじめたのですが、最後の 一節を除いてこの諺の意味を心底理解することができました。最後の一節の意味を理解したときに、乗り越えなければならない 試練があることは理解していますが本心を言うと怖くてたまらない。恐らくと言うか、確実に奈落の底に落ちるでしょう。現実と向き合う勇気はまだ持てませんが、そのときは確実に訪れます。世の中にはそれを乗り越えた先人が大勢いて、その数だけ優しさが生まれています。
僕達の生活は様々な動植物に支えられて成り立っています。「いきとしい けるもの」
僕達夫婦が合言葉のように唱えている言葉。
僕らが使っている革靴や革財布も、元々は牛等の動物の命をわけてもらっていることにあらためて気づかされ、感謝の気持ちがうまれた結果 、大切に使うようになるはずです 。動物の素晴らしき癒しの能力とピュアな心、そしてひとりでも多くの人に、一緒に暮らす幸せを味わってほしい。

This is a famous proverb overseas.
Get a dog if you give birth to a child. When the child is a baby, it will protect your child. When the child is a toddler, it will play with your child. When the child is a young boy, it will be the one who understands. And when the child becomes a man, it will teach him the importance of life through its own death.
I started living with a dog after I grew up, but I could truly understand the meaning of this proverb except for the last line. I know that there will be a challenge I would have to overcome when I understand the meaning of the last line, but to be honest, I am absolutely terrified of it. Probably, or quite surely, I will fall into the abyss. I still don't have the confidence to face reality, but the time will come for sure. There are a number of people who went through the same, and the same number of kindness is born out of it.
Our lives depends on various kinds of animals and plants. ”All living things”
My wife and I repeat this phrase like a watchword.
We shall once again realize that the leather shoes and leather wallets we use are made with the sacrifice of lives of cows and other animals, and with the feeling of appreciation, use it with great care. We hope you appreciate the wonderful therapeutic powers and their pure heart of the animals, and hope as many people as possible will enjoy the happiness of living with animals.
