Packed the #prius with camping gear and on our way down to the @evergladesnps for the half marathon @vacationraces is putting on. Today is the first time I wish we had an SUV- we have sleeping bags and pillows under our feet and are all sitting pretzel-legged. #crammedinaprius

After completing the @Disney marathon in January, I've been on a mission to run a half marathon and keep my endurance and fitness up. @jogwithjessie tipped me off to this race and after 3 months of training, it's race time.

Kinda crazy the day is here- I don't feel ready, but I don't think I ever would. You can always do more to get ready. You just gotta put yourself out there and take it one step at a time. Which means one foot in front of the other... for 13.1 miles.
