5 tips for creating a graphic eye look ✍ ? Celebrity #MUA @Lotstar taught a master class to The #SephoraPRO Team on how to get this statement effect. Below, we list our favorite beauty tricks from the seminar.

1⃣ MAKE SURE YOUR LINES ARE CLEAN “It’s just about taking time, even if it’s smooth little steps. You want to make sure that the line is elevating the face instead of dragging it down. Pointy cotton swabs with a little bit of makeup remover are really good for cleaning up lines, because you don’t want them to be jagged.” 2⃣ CHOOSE A LINE THAT FLATTERS YOUR EYE SHAPE “The liner should vary depending on the shape of the eye. Eyeliner is something you have to play around with and see what works.” 3⃣ CREATE SYMMETRY “You can use the end of a makeup brush as a guide. Or you can use tape as a guide if you’re doing straight lines. No one’s eyes are perfectly symmetrical anyway, so you adjust according to that.” 4⃣ KEEP THE LINE THICKNESS CONSISTENT “The thickness of the lines depends on the shape. So, if somebody has really small eyes, the lines should be a little bit thinner. But it’s really just personal preference—you could do a thick line on the bottom of a small eye and it could look really cool, too.” 5⃣ BALANCE THE EYES WITH THE REST OF YOUR MAKEUP “This just a general rule for me, personally: if I do something really bold, I downplay everything else. If you have a really strong eye look, it doesn’t mean you have to completely ignore everything else, but maybe soften the rest of your look with a natural brow or a softer lip.”
