#ThrowbackThursday. Every scar tells a story. 4 years ago I checked into the hospital as a cancer patient. #thyroidectomy. Today I'm cancer free and more aware of how fragile the physical body is. Blessed #HealthyMind. I learned that how we approach and survive our daily challenges is often more important than the issues themselves. #standuptocancer @americancancersociety #Warrior #Surviver. This pic was taken in NYC with my BFF Steven Lake. We shared that journey with laughter and deep friendship. He's no longer with us but always beside me in spirit.
