Cocco is an iconic figure in the Tokyo culinary world and mother of Yuri Nomura, our close friend and chef at Restaurant Eatrip in Harajuku. Cocco's classes book months in advance in Tokyo, and we're lucky to have her here. As much a teacher of traditional Japanese culture as cooking, she incorporates her knowledge of tea ceremony, flower arrangement and a particular Japanese sensitivity to the seasons into her classes. Her recently published book KienaiRecipes won first place in the 2016 Gourmand Awards. The classes at Rintaro will be limited to 15 students per session and will include hands-on instruction followed by lunch.
