The New Global Layout of Sicilian Aesthetics
With the opening of the boutique on Via
Montenapoleone in Milan, Dolce&Gabbana announce a global revolution of
its own retail network. Designers
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana launch a new formula in the boutiques of
each country where diversity and cultural exchange come together instead of a simple shopping oriented location. Experience and storytelling are the
protagonists of
this revolution. They also hope that customers will feel
immersed in Sicily when visiting the boutique. While partaking in the
aesthetics and brand values of Dolce&Gabbana, they are also
melding with the uniqueness of the local culture. Boutiques in international modern cities such as Milan,
Porto Cervo, Capri, Tokyo, St. Bart’s, London, Brussels, Monte Carlo,
Venice,
Beijing, Los Angles and Dubai will undergo the change one by one, each
becoming
one of a kind. The designers want not just an architectural space but an
experience; from the baroque Milan boutique to the ancient refined small
town of Capri to the historic Beijing… the locale of every boutique has
its own
identifying culture while incorporating the concepts, feelings and professionalism of
Dolce&Gabbana, allowing customers to see a different Dolce&Gabbana
while travelling in different places.
The latest two boutiques opened in September are
located on Via Montenapoleone in Milan and Aoyama in Tokyo.
