I'm directing an on-stage piece for the first time in my life, and I could not be more pleased with the artistry of my cast and the material, which is one of my favorite new musicals, Once. I'm pretty sure that we are the first amateur production of the show so it's quite the treat (and quite the pressure) to get to reimagine the material for the first time.
