A Neon Triplefin, Helcogramma striatum, perches upon a colony of Star Coral, likely Favites sp. The Triplefin feeds mainly upon algae and small invertebrates that occur on the reef. Similar to a member of the Goby family, the Triplefins differ taxonomically due to the division of their dorsal fin into 3 distinct parts.
