東映太秦映画村では、10・11月の日曜と祝日のみ「おいらん道中」のショーが行われています。

映画村の中に再現された吉原通りを、独特の「八文字」と呼ばれる足運びでゆるりゆるりと練り歩く花魁。
江戸時代にタイムスリップしたかのようでした。

A procession of courtesans show "Oiran do-chu" is performed at Kyoto Uzumasa Eigamura (Toei Movie Land) by only Sunday and a holiday of October and November.
You can see a courtesan by this show, and you'd be able to do the experience as if you have time-travelled to the Edo Period at all.
