I often determined how 'pretty' I was by how many guys liked me; it made my self esteem absolutely terrible because well... Guys didn't like me! Thankfully, I got to a point where I stopped caring if I was attractive to boys or pretty in society's eyes, because why should I care what strangers think of me?! True beauty, being 'pretty' is being happy with yourself, accepting yourself for who you are and what you look like. Within the last year, I realized that I don't need other people's approval to be deemed pretty. If I think I'm pretty, then I am. I love myself in all of my brown frizzy/curly/wavy hair goodness!
