Silky sharks, thresher sharks and mobula rays are in trouble. Due to huge demand for their fins, meat and gills, and poor protection measures, these species have suffered declines of over 70%! Right now government representatives from all over the world are meeting at #CITES #COP17 (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) to make decisions about the trade of hundreds of species. This is our opportunity to ensure the protection and preservation of the most at risk species for generations to come. Urge CITES Parties to vote YES to list silky sharks, thresher sharks, and mobula rays on Appendix II. #CITES4Seas
