by @drewtrush // This spring I had a chance to start working with @thelynxproject and @boonesmithwc In Alaska to help document the work they are doing and educate folks about lynx. Monitoring the lynx population means finding dens and counting how many kittens are born every year. It's amazing to see how closely their population is tied to the snowshoe hare, and as the hare population is peaking, lynx numbers increase. We managed to find dens with up to six kittens!
