But this small slice of the planet including the oxbow of the Snake River in the foreground and a major portion of the Grand Teton National Park moments after first light make this a sacred, mystical place. I have visited churches that did not fill me with as much awe and amazement as this perfect, pristine part of Nature. This vista worked for a famous photograph for Ansel Adams.
