#OUROCEAN needs immediate action from ALL of us if we have any chance of preserving what we have left. 50% of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia is dead. We have a piece of plastic the size of Texas in the pacific and we are killing 100 million sharks yearly. These are just a couple of the MANY challenges facing our oceans today. #presidentObama is heading up OUR OCEAN 2016 right now in DC with leaders from all over the World which is a wonderful thing, but individually we #ALL need to do our part. If you can, ask yourself today what you can do to help? That is what this is going to take, ALL of us doing our part. The time to act is now. No better way to jumpstart that action than President #Obamas move to protect a slice of ocean off the coast of New England, creating the first-ever marine monument in the Atlantic Ocean.
