This silver medal is extremely different from any of the others that I’ve won. This silver medal represents all of the hard work and dedication that Wesley and I have put in over the past four years. Believe me, I put my heart and soul into all of this. In 2013, @Wesley_Williamz and I battled through the windiest of conditions to win a gold medal and world champion title in Lyon, France. Who remembers 2015? The world championships in Doha, Qatar where I jumped and landed on the side of the pit? Wesley and I were able to regroup and have the best jump of the competition on the very next attempt after that blunder. We finished with another gold medal and world champion title. This year, in Rio, we persevered once again. Even through all of the commotion in the stadium, we were able to unleash the one jump that landed me a spot on the podium. I will go into battle any day of the week with this guy right here. I will go into battle any day of the week for you and the rest of USA. I have taken my last flight of the year, but I will be back on the runway again next year to catch even more air. I’m going to take a break for a few months, and then I’ll begin to prepare for next year’s world championships in London, England. For years, Wesley has given me the command, and now I’m asking you to do the same.
