French high-mountain guide @montagnesdumonde shot this video of a helicopter rescue high above the French Alps on Thursday evening. He was spending the night in the Refuge des Cosmiques mountain hut with some clients when he saw helicopters hovering over the gondolas. More than 100 people were trapped in the cable cars, which became stuck, and 33 spent ultimately spent night there before they were rescued Friday morning. #alps #FrenchAlps #montblanc
