Darryl “DMC” McDaniels recalls Run-D.M.C.’s performance of “Walk This Way” with Aerosmith in our new animated video. In late 1986, the hip-hop group’s version of the song was inescapable. When Aerosmith booked a Boston show not long after, they invited Run-D.M.C. to take their collaboration from the studio to the stage. DMC told us, “I remember looking at the faces of the audience.
