soaking in the last few bits of this holiday weekend - looking back this summer has seemed fleeting, like the peonies in this image, picked from the garden at the beginning of the season - but it has also been a summer full of new chapters, houses, new friends, and the best old ones too! family, beautiful laughter, shared meals, hours in the garden & getting to do the work I love and which sustains me everyday - grateful doesn't begin to express it all nor does happiness - some how contentedness seems right
