? “I first met the girls from @theskatekitchen on the G train in New York City. It was very similar to when I spotted the boys from Wolfpack – I was intrigued and asked them if they would like to do a project together. We met up and started discussing what it’s like to be a girl that skateboards. I thought it would be really interesting to bring the skater girls’ world to the Miu Miu world. There are so many films about women bullying one another, or mean girls, or not women supporting one another, or jealousy. I wanted to make a film about girls that support one another – it’s an issue I feel very strongly about."
