For the past few years we've used Animation Room 12 on the Disney lot to screen our Guardians of the Galaxy cuts and visual effects reviews. This was, at one time, Walt's private screening room. The top photo is Walt in Animation 12 back in the day. The bottom photo is us recreating it on a lark when we were about to finish up the first movie (Marvel folks Kevin Feige, Victoria Alonso, and Jonathan Schwartz are directly in front of me). Today both of these photos hang in the hallway outside Animation 12.
We've just had a brand new, state-of-the-art screening room built on the lot just for our use, and we couldn't be happier. But I'll always be fond of the fun and history we became a part of in Anim 12. #GotG #Disney #WaltDisney #GotGVol2
