Came to #RedBank to hang with Mom yesterday only to find her in the ER at #riverviewhospital. Forgetting she's 70, Mom still tries to conduct herself like she's half that age - and it leads to MRI's, MRA's, CAT Scans. She's stable today so maybe we'll be able to do my favorite thing in the world to do with my Mom: drive around our old town of #Highlands and see all the sites where she raised me and I grew up. When sees & hears everything I remember about the vast adventure of an idyllic childhood that she built for me, it's like porn to my Mom. I'm hoping they let her out today so my Mom can get a dose of the REAL medicine she needs: the nostalgic joy ride through #HighlandsNJ which acts as a reminder that she did an excellent job as a Mother.
