Little baby Luxxy! This poor little New Guinea Singer girl was born at the heinous Guzoo, in Alberta, Canada. She was the only survivor in the litter and was given just a moose leg to eat. Little Luxxy was rescued from the zoo and brought to the US by some amazing ladies until she found herself a part of our family.
To say she has had a rough life is an understatement and fortunately this zoo has been shut down, but not without doing such an injustice to so many animals.
Little Luxxy is now a part of the JAB Canid Education and Conservation Center and will be an Ambassador Singer, but most importantly she will be a part of our family and loved. As I type this, she is curled up in a little ball asleep beside me on the bed. While she hasn't warmed up her her GSD sisters, they have welcomed her and allowed her room to acclimate to the love!
