The first time I visited Yosemite was in 6th grade. My family was on a tour of central California. I stood in this exact spot and took a photo with one of my mom’s old cameras. In that moment I noticed something different about that photo. It felt like art, like capturing a feeling, an emotion, and a moment, rather than just snapping a shot. It is where my journey to being a “photographer” began. @rseabve and I returned to that spot while in Yosemite. It was nice to see that absolutely nothing about that moment had changed.
