Photograph taken by @christianziegler in DRC on assignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック, an outtake from a story on Bonobos in March 2013. This young bonobo was playing joyfully, climbing up a liana (a woody vine), and just having fun. He is 3-years-old and his mother was close by, keeping an eye on him.
