He played Carlos in the 2010 biopic series Carlos, a role for which he won the César Award for Most Promising Actor and was nominated for a Golden Globe and Emmy Award. Known for his roles in Zero Dark Thirty, Bourne Ultimatum, Che, Joy and the list goes on. (Feel free to add your fav in comments for others to watch) Ramírez won at the 2012 ALMA Awards for Ares in Wrath of the Titans. We can all get behind his upcoming film HANDS OF STONE, where he plays Roberto Duran and just completely crushes the role. I was left speechless by not only his performance but that of Robert DeNiro and the lead actress Ana De Armas (a magnificent Latina Actress). Y'all know how I absolutely love boxing, this film is a must watch and in my opinion Edgar gives an Oscar worthy performance!!!
