“The difficult part about getting a shot like this is that you can never plan exactly how things will unfold,” says Utah-based cowboy, photographer and country musician Chris Petersen (@diehardcowboy_). For this photo, Chris stepped in front of the camera. “When I see this image it takes me back to that moment in time. I could hear pounding hooves, I could feel the wind on my face, I saw mud flying through the air and my heart seemed to race as fast as the horses around me. It was a feeling of absolute freedom and a rush that felt like an overload of the senses.” #TheWeekOnInstagram
