Our weekly content creator, @cbezerraphotos, takes us to Greece: "Every time I think about summer heaven, I think about the Greek islands. Every time I think about them, Santorini is the first image in my mind- the classic view of the whitewashed houses, blue domes churches in a volcano caldera is in our collective imagery. My dream finally came true last month and I'm still in awe with all the beauty and magic of the place. Of course, the first place I wanted to take a picture of is the classic postcard shot of the blue roof churches in Oia. I went there the first day at sunset and I couldn't find it. On the second day, I decided to look for my dream spot. Finally I found it, but I wasn't alone. A tour of 30 people were there in 100 degree Fahrenheit weather. Patiently I waited for them to leave the spot and I took my "classic close up" shot. When I was leaving, I saw a higher elevation spot, where I had to climb a wall to find this angle of this photo (believe me, that's what we photographers do for one shot). The perspective and composition was completely different from my classic shot and I really loved it. So I got a few lessons from this photo- 1. You always have to believe you will visit your dream place someday. 2. Never give up taking the picture of your dreams, even if you get lost or the place is overcrowded or the weather is unbearably hot (or cold). 3. After you take your "classic" picture, always find a way to shoot other pictures of the spot with different angles and compositions. 4. Sometimes, the best picture of the day is the last one, so keep shooting, keep shooting, keep shooting."
