The plantation of Ariel Palacios and his two sisters is located at the end of a trail crossing over mountains covered in coffee plants. At the time of the harvesting and processing of the coffee beans, Ariel and his sisters do not step foot out of the coffee plantation, providing the inspiration of their disciplined, expert and humane presence. They rely on their supervisors who divide and assign the hills for different seasonal cultivators, where they will be spending every morning working over the course of the next three months. There are certain permanent cultivators who work on the fields year round. The grains that day had been separated from the coffee cherries after a period of fermentation in water, and were put to dry in the sun. The man strides along the surface covered in the coffee beans, with a wooden rake, forming perfect parallel and perpendicular geometrical lines.

These curving waves in the lines he forms are produced only by the tiny repeated and regular motion of his respiration.
