A unique aspect of highlines being so loosely rigged and dynamic is the ability to surf the line from side to side. It's a super intense feeling and a movement that takes a lot of practice and smoothness to perform. Sometimes, when I'm in a sweet state of flow and feeling smooth, I just stay out on the line for what seems like forever. I become part of the line and the line becomes part of me; time slows as I pay tribute to the beautiful place. This was shot at a highline gathering called Gravatation, named after a very ferocious plant on the southern coast of Brazil called the Gravata plant... we all went back to camp with bloody ankles but it was so worth it!
