continuing my ritual of early mornings in the kitchen before the heat of the day is upon us - it's a funny little shift but instead of seeking out the light as I normally do I find I am searching for the deep cool shadows - the shelter they provide moving from one to the next- with windows open and fans constantly on, moving air which persists in its stillness if not coaxed into action
