During all four days of the Democratic National Convention, the city of Philadelphia is filled with protest marches that converge at City Hall. Yesterday the Black DNC Resistance March against Police Terror and State Repression met up with Bernie Sanders protesters against Hillary Clinton for president.

A young boy climbed up a light pole holding a Bernie Sanders sign. A protester walked over and handed him a Black Lives Matter sign. At first he fumbled to hold onto them both but with some convincing from protesters he ultimately let go of the Bernie sign and raised the Black Lives matter poster high above his head.

The rally of at least 1000 protesters included members of the International Action Center of New York and Philadelphia, the MOVE Organization, Stadium Stompers, the Philadelphia Coalition for Racial, Economic and Legal Justice, the Black and Brown Workers Collective
