Follow the White Rim Road at #Canyonlands #NationalPark for a backcountry adventure. The 100-mile road loops around and below the Island in the Sky mesa top and provides expansive views of #Utah’s stunning landscape. Trips usually take two to three days by four-wheel-drive vehicle, and photographer David Lane made that excursion earlier this year to capture some amazing images of the night sky. “As darkness descended, the moonless sky permitted me to capture this glorious view of the Milky Way in an otherwise nearly pitch black sky,” he says.
