Flanked on the wings of @boeing's brand new, next-generation 737 MAX passenger jet is none other than #GE's LEAP engine, developed by CFM International, a joint venture between @geaviation and Safran Aircraft Engines of France. The #LEAP is the world's first #jetengine to include 3D-printed fuel nozzles, engine shrouds made from light and heat resistant space-age materials called ceramic matrix composites (CMCs), and nickel-alloy compressor blades grown from a single crystal. As a result, these engines are quieter, easier to maintain, and 15 percent more fuel efficient. #GE is proud to have them power the #737MAX plane, which is
