It was like the calm before the storm. As people (journalists mostly) dashed to cover the rumors that there was some kind of bomb at the Dallas Police Department, "Tee" (he told me it was his first initial) walked up to the makeshift shrine and started to pray, first in a low voice then like a preacher, belting out his prayer like the thunder. "No weapons formed against you shall prosper. No one will hurt this city of Dallas anymore. I pray for these officers who lost their lives, it is time to heal," he belted out.
