I was sad to hear my friend Cliff Vaughs passed away last weekend. Cliff was a amazing guy. He was a pioneer in the 1964 Civil Rights movement. That's him in the center of this famous Danny Lyons pic from Life Magazine. I found out from Dennis Hopper that he paid Cliff personally to build the Easyriders movie bikes. He never got credit for it. So I made it my mission to find him and give him that much deserved credit due. Hildie Katibah and myself searched high and low for him. We found no trace until we found a Medical blog post by his son who was a Dr. He let us know he was and Expat and living on a boat somewhere in the Caribbean. Letters were sent and we met him on the docks in Ensenada Mexico. The rest is history. He finally came back to the US and rejoined The Chosen Few MC and received so much love. @Harley-Davidson even did a special deal for him at the museum. Rest in Peace Mr. Vaughs. #HistoryOfTheChopper
