"Father and Son". Want to thank this talented artist @koapaden for this amazing artwork of myself & my dad, Rocky "Soulman" Johnson. My dad broke down color barriers in the 60's, 70's and 80's often becoming the first black champion in every organization he wrestled in - including WWE. Very proud when I run into my friends in sports and entertainment (from Snoop Dog to Mike Tyson) who say "Rocky Johnson was one of my heroes. If he could become somebody, so can I." Thank you for paving the way for us pops and for teaching me and all of us that respect is given when it's earned.. so go out and earn it. ・・・ In the spirit of Father's Day I wanted to showcase a painting Ive recently done for a sports entertainment legend, and modern day hero. The acrylic on canvas painting depicts an image of a father and son who broke down barriers and changed entertainment, not just wrestling entertainment. This painting is very detailed, and was made to be a visual centerpiece of a bond between two icons. I also implemented images of the beginning, the long nights of training and perfecting the craft that shows the rise of these two titans. Growing up with your hero has it’s benefits and wanted to tie in the history between @ドウェイン・ジョンソン and his dad.
